Lindsay passed away at the old homestead southeast of the city at 9 o'clock Wednesday night, death resulting from the infirmities of age. She was born in London, England, March 26, 1833, being in her 87th year. With her parents Samuel and Sophia Oyler, she emigrated to this country when but 7 years of age, settling first near Rochester, N.Y., and later coming to Tippecanoe County, where she had ever since resided.
