Description	:	Mrs. Eliza DeSamber, 78, of 511 W. Main died late Wednesday afternoon in a Sterling hospital following an illness of nine months. Rosary will be recited 8 p.m.Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday from St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Rev. Walter Jeager officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside cemetery. Mrs. DeSamber was born Nov. 17, 1892, in Belgium, the daughter of August and Philomena Van Severin. She married Julius DeSamber in 1912 in Belgium and the couple came to this country the same year, living in Omaha, Neb., for five years then homesteaded north of Fort... She married Julius DeSamber in 1912 in Belgium and the couple came to this country the same year, living in Omaha, Neb., for five years then homesteaded north of Fort Morgan for seven years before moving to the Stoneham area in 1936 and thence to Sterling. Mrs. DeSamber was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Julius DeSamber of 511 W. Main; three sons, Albert DeSamber of Fort Morgan; George DeSamber of Rt. 3 Sterling and Joe DeSamber of Stoneham; two daughters, Mrs. Philomena Sewald and Mrs. Alyce Mari, both of Sterling; 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, six brothers and a sister. Radford Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
