Description	:	Elizabeth Hansen was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Ethel Caroline (Gretzer) and Myron Baldwin Allerton. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1954 and Mercy School of Nursing in 1957. On April 4, 1957, Elizabeth married Bernard "Bud" Hansen at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Council Bluffs. To this union 5 children were born, Susan, Dean, Sharon, David and Sandra. Elizabeth was a member of the Methodist Church and Shelby County Historical Society.
