Died at Exira, Iowa, June 23,1904, aged 68 years, 14 days." "In her early childhood the family moved to Ohio where she grew to womanhood, and again in 1858 the family move to Iowa county, Iowa and settled at Millersburg where in 1862 she was united in marriage to Phineas H. Died at Exira, Iowa, June 23,1904, aged 68 years, 14 days." "After 15 years residence at Millersburg, in 1877 Mr. and Mrs. Heath moved to this city where she resided until her death." "Early in life she united with the followers of Christ and several years ago united with the church of Christ and has ever walked in the paths of righteousness and died steadfast in the faith of the reserrection and the life. She was a devoted wife and mother and her taking away will be severelyfelt in that house of mourning. She was a kind neighbor and none have aught to say against her. Her lastsickness was of but short duration, being stricken suddenly less than a week before her death with paralysis and complications. The funeral was held Friday at two o'clock from the house and was preached by the M.E. minister, Rev. Holladay, her pastor, Elder Whitaker, being absent. The remains were interred in the beautiful Exira cemetery." "Her sister, Mrs. Mary Kimbro, of Cedar Rapids, attended the funeral. The husband and children return their thanks to all who offered their kindly services and words of consolation in their time of sorrow."
