She had been a resident at the Sedgwick County Nursing Home for two years and four months. She was united in marriage to Victor Charles Roberts September 27, 1916, and to this union three sons and two daughters were born. She had been a resident at the Sedgwick County Nursing Home for two years and four months. She was united in marriage to Victor Charles Roberts September 27, 1916, and to this union three sons and two daughters were born. The family moved to a farm at Venango, Nebraska in 1929 living there five years, then south of Julesburg for thee years and in 1943 moved northeast of Holyoke until the death of her husband March 1971. She then moved to Holyoke, where she resided until entering the Julesburg Nursing Home. The Roberts celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary September 27, 1966. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, husband and one grandson. She is survived by three sons, John of Brush and Leonard and Melvin of Holyoke; two daughters, Elsie Cumming and Millie Stretesky of Julesburg; 15 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; two sisters, one brother; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held February 5 at the First Christian Church in Holyoke, with Ken Boswell officiating. Interment followed at Holyoke Memorial Park. Austin Funeral Home of Julesburg was in charge of arrangements.
