Etting had passed to the great beyond at her home here at 3:45 o'clock. Mrs. Etting attended services at St. Johns Lutheran church Sunday morning and eemed in the best of health. Etting had passed to the great beyond at her home here at 3:45 o'clock. Mrs. Etting attended services at St. Johns Lutheran church Sunday morning and eemed in the best of health. A slight cold suddenly developed into pneumonia, and the angel of death claimed her spirit after an illness of 2 days. The deceased was the daughter of the late Henry and Louise Konge (misprint in the paper) and was born November 21, 1854 near St. Donatus. Her marriage to Fred W. Etting was solomized at the Lutheran church at St. Donatus Dec. 4, 1875. The home was made on a farm near St. Donatus and they resided there until Sept. 22, 1921 when the family moved to Bellevue. Her husband preceded her in death and she is survived by two sons and five daughters, Christina at home, Mrs. George Felderman of Dubuque, Mrs. Joseph Mueller of Bellevue, Mrs. George Wicke , Henry and Fred Etting of St. Donatus, Mrs. Ed Wallant of Bellevue. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, two sisters Mrs. Louisa Hickman of Warren, Minnesota, Mrs. Crist Weinlader and three brothers, Henry, Fred, and Otto of North Dakota. Mrs. Etting was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran church and the funeral was held from there Monday afternoon. The services were conducted at 1:30 by the Rev. S.H. Sandrock, following services at home at 1 o'clock. The burial was made in the family lot in the St. Donatus cemetery. Casket was attended by HL Felderman, Conrad Felderman, John A Felderman, Nick Mootz, Joe Ernst and Barney Dierksen..
