Read More	Daughter of A.J. Spencer and Susan Crawford. Frederick James Carscallen and Elizabeth Brough Spencer were married at St. George's Church, Owen Sound, Ontario on Dec. 26, 1906. Mrs. Carscallen Dies Friday F.J. Carscallen, Blackfalds, and his daughter, Mrs. Howard Long, will have sympathy in the death at the home of her daughter on Friday of Mrs. Carscallen. She had not been in good health and had had a stay in hospital only a week or so earlier, but her death was unexpected. Mrs. Carscallen was 73 years and was born in Owen Sound. She was married in Ontario in 1905, coming west with her husband the following year. They lived in Calgary for a few years, coming to Red Deer nearly 40 years ago. Apart from a few years at the Coast, they made their home in Red Deer almost continuously until moving to Blackfalds about four years ago. During her years here, Mrs. Carscallen was interested in the work of Gaetz Memorial United Church and of the I.O.D.E., and made a number of good friends who will regret her passing. In addition to her husband, she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Howard Long, Blackfalds, and there are two grandchildren.
