Description	:	Provided by Steve Hols: Mrs. Elizabeth Bush Cottrell was born in Tippecanoe County Indiana, in the year 1834. She moved to Wapello County Iowa in 1844, and was married to John Cottrell October 28, 1851. To this union nine children were born: Mrs. Jennie Clark of Dana Ohio; Mrs. Flora Brisben, of Carnegia, Oklahoma; BF Cottrell, Wildwood Oklahoma; Edward Cottrell, of Madison Missouri, and Irvin Cottrell of Ottumwa, who are living. Misses Angeline, Emaline, Sarah and Samuel Cottrell, who are now deceased. They moved from Wapello County to Clark County in 1882 and in 1901 they moved to Carnegia, Oklahoma, where she died... Read More	Provided by Steve Hols: Mrs. Elizabeth Bush Cottrell was born in Tippecanoe County Indiana, in the year 1834. She moved to Wapello County Iowa in 1844, and was married to John Cottrell October 28, 1851. To this union nine children were born: Mrs. Jennie Clark of Dana Ohio; Mrs. Flora Brisben, of Carnegia, Oklahoma; BF Cottrell, Wildwood Oklahoma; Edward Cottrell, of Madison Missouri, and Irvin Cottrell of Ottumwa, who are living. Misses Angeline, Emaline, Sarah and Samuel Cottrell, who are now deceased. They moved from Wapello County to Clark County in 1882 and in 1901 they moved to Carnegia, Oklahoma, where she died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Flora Brisben, March 30, 1904, aged 70 years, one month and 16 days. Besides her five children she leaves an aged husband who deeply feels his loss. She was a kind and loving wife and mother. Mrs. Cottrell joined the church when quite young and lived a Christian life for rest of her days. She was an invalid for seven years and was confined to her bed most of the time, never complaining, burying her suffering and a Christian faith until her master called her home. Everything was done that loving hands could do; her last wish was to be brought back to her old home for burial, which was done. The remains were accompanied to Chillicothe by her aged husband and son, Irvin Cottrell. The funeral was preached at the Methodist Episcopal church, Rev. John Brown, of Batavia conducting the services.
