Description	:	Elizabeth Ames Richeson, age 58, of Huron, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014, surrounded by her family, at the Huron Regional Medical Center, after a brief battle with liver cancer. Her funeral service was Saturday, January 3, 2015, at the First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Andrew Crandall officiating. Burial was in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Elizabeth Darleen Ames was born September 11, 1956, to John and Darleen (Stam) Ames in Huron. She attended the Huron public schools and graduated from Huron High School in 1974. She graduated from Huron College in 1985 and also earned an MBA from the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. In January of 1988, Elizabeth married Robert Richeson in Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado, in the home of “Dan the Preacher Man”, The couple lived in Coal Creek Canyon for 30 years before moving to Huron. Elizabeth was a real estate broker, rental manager and home renovator. Elizabeth enjoyed her career in real estate and was a member of the Huron Board of Realtors. She loved all animals and was an active supporter of the Beadle County Humane Society. She thoroughly enjoyed riding horses. Elizabeth expressed her creativity by crafting, painting, home renovating, and giving homemade gifts. She loved spending time with her family and adored her granddaughter, Dylan. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband of 26 years, Bob Richeson of Huron; one daughter, Ashley (Hunter Davis) Richeson and their daughter, of Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado; two stepdaughters, Tatia (Phil) Hyde and their children, of Peru, Indiana and Jodi (Kimber Bradshaw) Richeson and their children, of Dear Park, Texas; her mother, Darleen Ames of Huron; one sister, Jill (Kevin) Minske and their daughter, of Huron; two brothers, Martin Ames and Tom (Debra) Ames both of Huron; four aunts, Juanita Lueth of Huron, Shirleen (Harold) King of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Roseanne Crenshaw of Port Arthur, Texas, and Dorothy Robinson of Wayzata, Minnesota; two brothers-in-law, Ralph Richeson of Palmdale, California and Harry (Linda) Richeson and their children, Michelle and Jason of Peru, Indiana; and many cousins.
