Description	:	Elizabeth "Lib" Davies Silver of Havre de Grace died March 17 at Harford Memorial Hospital of respiratory problems. She was 83. Born Aug. 11, 1924 on Montesurado Farm near Havre de Grace. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin Stump Silver Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Gordon Silver. She attended school in Havre de Grace and graduated from Havre de Grace High School. She married Charles Anthony Brown in March 1950 and lived in Alaska and Germany. She divorced in 1991. Read More	Elizabeth "Lib" Davies Silver of Havre de Grace died March 17 at Harford Memorial Hospital of respiratory problems. She was 83. Born Aug. 11, 1924 on Montesurado Farm near Havre de Grace. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin Stump Silver Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Gordon Silver. She attended school in Havre de Grace and graduated from Havre de Grace High School. She married Charles Anthony Brown in March 1950 and lived in Alaska and Germany. She divorced in 1991. She worked at Carroll's Laundry in Havre de Grace years ago for a short time, Daneker Clock factory in Fallston, in the office of the Perry Point Laundry, in mail and records at Aberdeen Proving Ground and Harford Memorial Hospital for 17 years. In her early years, she sang in the choir at Webster Congregational Church and was named a Harford County Living Treasure in 2003. She loved her church and the people she worked with, her family said. She is survived by a son, Hope Anthony Brown, of Seattle, WA; a brother, Col.(Ret) Benjamin S. Silver, of Gatesville, Texas; a sister, Ruth Silver Walker, of Havre de Grace; a nephew, Benjamin Scott Walker Sr., and his wife, Becky, of Lusk, WY; a great-nephew, Benjamin Scott Walker, Jr., of Lusk, WY; and a great-niece, Katie Breanna Walker, of Lusk, WY. A viewing will be March 27 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home in Aberdeen. Funeral services will be March 28 at 10 am at Deer Creek Harmony Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Deer Creek Harmony Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The Aegis - March 2008
