| Description | : | Elizabeth Eckles was the daughter of James & Martha Eckles of Dinwiddie County Virginia. She married Herbert/Harbert Tucker in Dinwiddie/Nottoway County VA about 1798. Herbert/Harbet Tucker died unexpectedly in 1816 leaving Elizabeth to administer his estate. The Nottoway County VA Order Books of the 1820's contain many references to the legal quagmire created by the husband's untimely death. A November 1828 entry records the appointment of an administrator for the estate following Elizabeth's death.
