Elizabeth married Oscar Beniah Beaver on March 10, 1900. In 1905 there was a flu epidemic in Missouri and Oscar died of the flu in July 1905 in Excelsior Springs, Clay County, Missouri. Read More	Elizabeth Ellen Holeman was born on January 5, 1869, in Warren County, Illinois, to Margaret Jane Wilson, age 21, and George W. Holeman, age 28. Elizabeth married Oscar Beniah Beaver on March 10, 1900. In 1905 there was a flu epidemic in Missouri and Oscar died of the flu in July 1905 in Excelsior Springs, Clay County, Missouri. Elizabeth had a baby girl, Margaret Myrlla Henderson, who was born prematurely on August 6, 1905, soon after her husband, Oscar, passed away. Margaret weighed only two pounds at birth. She was put in a sewing machine drawer and placed cotton around her and a light over her to keep her warm, since she was born at home and they did not have incubators back then. Their young son, Marvin Beaver, who was born in January 1903, also died from the flu in September 1905. In 1907 Elizabeth married Charles Edwin CROOK and they had two children together: Sarah Ruth Crook, born June 3, 1908 and Rachel Elizabeth Crook on September 1, 1910. They were both born in Excelsior Springs, Clay County, Missouri. She died on December 1, 1921, in Curlew, Iowa, at the age of 52, and was buried in the Waukee Cemetery in Waukee, Iowa.
