Died Sept. 5, 1914, at her home in Plevna, Mo. Was married to Lawson B. Stout April 22, 1886. Never was such devotion shown as by her loving companion, who kept vigil watch day and night during her long illness. --To this union were born 4 children, Mrs. Iva King, Mrs. Mary Miller, John Melvin. One son, Jesse Davis, preceded her in death a few years and was waiting with beckoning hands for mamma. She leaves also a dear old mother, 5 brothers, 4 sisters. --She was united with North River Baptist church many years ago and always lived up to her church duties and privileges. --None but a true child of God could have borne their sufferings with such patience and never a murmur as she did; always ready with good advice and christian example. --Rev. L. P. Smith conducted the funeral services in Plevna Christian church. Interment in Cedar Grove cemetery. --Two Friends. (Contributor: Paula D)
