Abell, the well-known cattle dealer, and believed to be the oldest person in Burton township, died Thursday of last week, aged 91. She was born in Massachusetts, leaving there at the age of 10. She was the daughter of Levi and Desire Ford. Mr. Abell died in 1873. Three children were born to them, the two surviving being Will H. Abell, of Chardon, and Mrs. Aurilla Stone, of North Troy. Mrs. Abell was an estimable woman. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. G.E. Merrill on Sunday at her late home where she had lived for 30 years. The burial was in Troy Cemetery. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Both her death certificate and her obituary states she was buried in Troy Cemetery, but I have not seen a headstone for her yet on Find A Grave, so I added this memorial. Her husband's monument is 4-sided, but she is not named on his monument.
