Read More	McCASHLAND, ELIZABETH FRANCES—Elizabeth Frances Ogg was born in Chanute, Kas. April 9, 1876 and passed away at her home near Grafton, March 25, 1925, aged 48 years, 11 months, and 16 days. She was united in marriage to Charles McCashland, January 12, 1897. To this union were born six children: Ruth, Doris, Harold, Donald, Phyllis and Mary Elizabeth, who survive to mourn her death. Besides her husband and children, she leaves her father, George W. Ogg of Lincoln; one sister, and three brothers, Mrs. Ella Benton, Albert, and Earl all of Lincoln, and Curtis of Geneva. Mrs. McCashland lost her mother when she was five years old and was cared for by her grandmother until her father was united in marriage to Susan C. Skaggs four years later at Chanute, Kas. Four years later the family moved to Fort Scott, Kas., thence to Geneva in 1893 when Mrs. McCashland was seventeen years old. She has resided in this community ever since with the exception of three years spent in Wyoming. In her early girlhood she united with the Baptist church and has been a faithful worker during the year. She lived a quiet unassuming life, was a loyal friend and neighbor, and devoted to her home and family. Those who knew her best were the ones who loved her most. She had been in ill health for a number of months. Through it all she has been a patient sufferer and always had a smile and kind word for those about her. The funeral was held at the Methodist church in Geneva March 27, 1925 at 2 o'clock p. m. The services were in the charge of Rev. D. T. Morton, pastor. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. She became a member of the Royal Neighbor lodge in December 1907. She held her membership in the Geneva lodge at the time of her death.
