Description	:	Mrs Elizabeth Short, widow of the late G B Short, and a former resident of this place, died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs J A Bryant at St Anthony. Mrs Short's death was due to old age. Mrs Short was a native of Greensburg, Indiana, where she was born March 30, 1835. She and her husband lived in this county many years. Mrs Short's death was due to old age. Mrs Short was a native of Greensburg, Indiana, where she was born March 30, 1835. She and her husband lived in this county many years. Mr Short died on the farm northwest of State Center about twelve years ago. mrs Short had been making her home with her daughter at St Anthony for several years. Mrs Short is survived by five of her seven children. They are John and Elmer Short of Tama; Mrs Schuyler C Smith of Toledo; Mrs Bryant of St Anthony and Mrs S F Massey of Fergus Falls, Minnesota. The funeral will be held form the Methodist Protestant church at St Anthony this afternoon. July 24, 1913 State Center Enterprise.
