Read More	The Scranton Journal Thursday November 12, 1953 ELIZABETH HANNA GALLOWAY Elizabeth Hanna Galloway , daughter of William and Lydia Rogan, was born Nov 27, 1879, on a farm in Greene County, six miles north of Bayard and passed away in the Brown's nursing home in Des Moines, Ia., at the age of 74 years, 11 months, and 10 days. She attended a rural school at Willow No. 2, and spent her early girlhood on the farm with her parents and two brothers and one sister until the age of 20. At that time she went to Des Moines to work. Later she was married and lived the remainder of her life in Des Moines. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Margaret Hermansen of Scranton, Ia., and one brother, Charles Rogan, also of Scranton, Ia., and seven nieces and nephews. Her husband, parents, and one brother preceded her in death. The Jefferson Bee, Nov 12, 1953: SERVICES IN BAYARD FOR ELIZABETH GALLOWAY, 75 Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Bayard for Elizabeth Hanna Galloway who passed away in a Des Moines nursing home last week. Mrs. Galloway was born on a farm south of Scranton, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Rogan and grew to womanhood in this community. at the age of 20 she went to Des Moines where she made her home for the rest of her life. At the services, Rev. Miller officiated and burial was made at Willow Cemetery.
