T. Wright, after a long and painful illness of consumption. Mrs. Wright was the only daughter of Mr. James Stevens. She leaves a husband, one child, father and three brothers to mourn their loss. She was a faithful wife, loving mother and devoted daughter and sister. Mrs. Wright gave her heart to God at a revival meeting in the Williston M. E. Church about two years ago, and has been a consistent member of church since her conversion, and was regular in attendance at the services until compelled to remain at home on account of failing health. Her remains were intered at Concord last Sunday morning, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. T. F. Tabler. A precious one from us has gone; A vouice we loved is stilled; A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled. God, in his wisdom, has recalled The boon his love had given- And though the body slumbers here, The soul is safe in heaven.
