Description	:	Beth Nolte, lifelong resident of Hampton, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. She was 95 years old. A memorial service will be held at the First Methodist Church in Hampton on February 11, 2013 at 3 PM. The family requests no flowers or memorials. Elizabeth Irene (Wallace) Nolte was born on June 27, 1917, in Hampton, the daughter of Harvey J. and Nettle G. Wallace. After graduating from Hampton High school in 1936, she attended Iowa State University for one year before returning home to begin a career at Hampton State Bank where she became the head cashier during her 20 plus years of employment. Following a short retirement she became the bookkeeper for Cashway Lumber where she worked for another 20 years, retiring for good in 1987. On November 19, 1950 she married Charles (Kelly) W. Nolte. Beth was active in Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the Hampton Cemetery Society, Business and Professional Women (BPW) and the Methodist Church. Survivors include a nephew, Major General (Ret) Stewart W. Wallace of Tucson, Arizona; a niece, Carolyn Furlong of Centennial, Colorado; a grand niece, Cassandra Mangan of Indianapolis, Indiana; a grand nephew, Scott Wallace of Kuwait City, Kuwait and 5 great grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kelly and two brothers, Wilmer and Dale. Service arrangements are by Sietsema Vogel Funeral Homes of Hampton.
