At the age of 17 years she was united in marriage to R. E. Robinson, to this union three children were born: Mrs. Ross Hayes of Oelwein; Mrs. M. J. Allen, of Elgin, and Mrs. G. A. Hart, of Montevideo, Minn. In the spring of 1901 she was united in marriage to W. E. Taylor, who with her three daughters, three sisters and one brother, are left to mourn the loss of this faithful mother, relative and friend. A community of friends will miss the companionship of this good woman who will always be remembered for her rugged faith in God and that willing spirit of helpfulness by which her life was guided. Her life has been a quiet one, devoted to her home, family and those near and dear to her. She was a good friend, a kind neighbor, ever ready to help those in need or distress. For years Mrs. Taylor has been a member of the Christian church in Arlington, and a host of prayers follow her on her way to meet the common Father of us all. During the funeral the public schools were closed and the teachers attended. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. J. C. Hirschler, were held at the home Monday at 1:00 p. m. and interment in Taylorville cemetery.
