Sarah Ann age:2 Mar.:Bysom Horton Hash (I checked the neighborhood for the Haga Family and the Hash family but they were not living nearby. However, there is a TAYLOR FAMILY just around the corner about 8 farms.) 1850 census the HAGA FAMILY Dist. #19 Grayson Co, Virginia living with them is Charles Cole age:43 and 6 young kids. next door to them is the GRUBB family, Jacob whom Henry's sister married. 1860 census Bridle Creek, Grayson, Virginia Amazing on page 41 IS: The HASH FAMILY whom Sarah Ann married into and next door to them IS HEAD: JACOB HAGA age:47 farmer VA Celia A. age:33 VA Edith age:17 VA Harriet age:15 VA Noah age:13 Va Clementine age:11 VA Welden W. age:9 VA Rosamond age:7 VA Jacob M. age:5 VA 2 doors down from the Haga FAMILY is the RIMER FAMILY HEAD: Jacob/Sarah Martha-Stephen-Peggy-Malinda-Sarah Ann- Daniel W. Chadwick Rimer age:10 (a new son since the 1850 census was taken) ALSO, the older son Isaac, has moved back with his folks because according to Blanche Keating-Collie, Isaac' wife died in or right after childbirth of their son. The 1860 censuses DO NOT LIST Elizabeth Rimer with her family AND Henry HAGA is not listed on any census.??? Together or apart? So maybe they married by 1860, depending on which census you are looking at they were both at least 20+ years old. Muster cards for 3rd. Corp Henry Haga 12 pages Enlisted: 28 June 1861 at Fox Creek, Grayson Co Va as Pvt. into Co.D 51st Reg't Virginia Infantry Promoted to 4th Corp transferred to Co. I then 3rd Corp Oct. 1/62. His last clothing receipt was dated Sept. 17 1864. No MUSTER-OUT card included. Circa 1867 there was a marriage, I'm thinkin' because Elizabeth had their first child William L. 1868. However I can not pull a marriage record out... OK, BUT some one thinks that Henry/Elizabeth named a FIRST SON: William Henry HAGA born 1859 answers the question as to what year they probably married 1858 prior to the first William to be born and then their next child born 1868 they also named William......nice. 1870 census Wilson Creek, Grayson Co.
