She was born near Gavers, a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Benner, former honorable residents of that vicinity and all of her life had been in that neighborhood. Nine years ago, with her three sisters, the deceased moved from Wayne township to the home where her death occurred. Deceased is survived by three sisters, and one brother, Misses Mary and Ada Benner, who resided with her, Mrs. John Roseburg of Lisbon, and Henry Benner, who lives west of Gavers. Miss Benner had been a member of Lebanon Presbyterian church in Wayne township, and was most highly respected by al who knew her.
