Description	:	Elizabeth Jane Minich, daughter of Charles and Alvina Schmeltzer, was born at Friend, Neb., November 12, 1885. She passed away at the Asbury Hospital in Salina, Kas., April 11, 1958, at the age of 72 years and 6 months. She was united in marriage to John Wesley Minich of Friend, February 18, 1909, and since that year, resided in the Geneva and Exeter vicinities. Read More	Elizabeth Jane Minich, daughter of Charles and Alvina Schmeltzer, was born at Friend, Neb., November 12, 1885. She passed away at the Asbury Hospital in Salina, Kas., April 11, 1958, at the age of 72 years and 6 months. She was united in marriage to John Wesley Minich of Friend, February 18, 1909, and since that year, resided in the Geneva and Exeter vicinities. She became a member of the Exeter Methodist Church in April, 1957. Mrs. Minich was a lover of the out-of-doors, was deeply devoted to her home and family; and was always ready to be helpful to friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, one sister; and her husband. She leaves to mourn her passing seven children: Mrs. Frances Nelson of Kimball, Mrs. Leone Ebert of Sutton, Mrs. Doris Mead of Beloit, Wis., Mrs. Faye Jones of Beatrice, John E. (Jack) of Salina, Kas., Raymond of Janesville, Wis., and Clyde of York; also nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services, under the direction of the Farmer Funeral Home were held at the Exeter Methodist Church Monday, April 15, at 2 p.m. with Rev. LaRoy Seaver officiating. Interment was in the Exeter Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy Jones, John Drommond, Paul Becker, Bill Wilger, Roy Provencher and Lou Barkmeier. The Nebraska Signal 17 April 1958 Contributor: M.
