Description	:	Elizabeth Kneedler Clore daughter of George Washington and Rachel Wright Kneedler Elizabeth Kneedler Clore, was born in Fayette co., Ohio, May 18, 1820, departed this life January 31, 1911. Was united in marriage to Sanford Clore on December 13, 1840. To this union was born three daughters. Her husband passed to that better land, March 7, 1901, and also one of her daughters, Mrs. Leah Grinstead, December 27, 1900. The oldest, Mrs, Sarah Grinstead and the youngest, Alma, survive them. They moved to Davis County, Iowa in 1866, remaining there until called to their heavenly home. Rev.... They moved to Davis County, Iowa in 1866, remaining there until called to their heavenly home. Rev. Overturf conducted the funeral from her home. Interment was made in the Jay cemetery. She was converted and joined the M.E. church in Ohio, when about the age of eighteen years of age. Her death came unexpected as her health seemed better the last few months. And a week or two bebore her last ilness came, she went about the house singing the old hymns. She leaves to mourn her loss one brother, Alfred Kneedler, two daughters 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. She will be missed by no one so much as the invalid daughter at home. Weep not that her race is run. God grant we may rest as calmly when our work, like hers, is done. Till then we yeild with gladness our mother to His Keep. And rejoice in the sweet assurance, He giveth His loved ones sleep.
