Mrs. Farr was born in Union County, SC May 24, 1914, a daughter of the late William Farr and Mary Emma Holcombe Farr. She retired from Milliken & Co - Pacolet Mills and was a member of Foster Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Farr was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Farr was born in Union County, SC May 24, 1914, a daughter of the late William Farr and Mary Emma Holcombe Farr. She retired from Milliken & Co - Pacolet Mills and was a member of Foster Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Farr was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a son, Billy Gault and wife Renee of Valdalia, Ga; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Farr was predeceased by a daughter, Estelle G. Scruggs, and a son, Hoyle Dean Gault. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Christopher Greene. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Billy Blanton, Terry Blanton, Justin Blanton, Brian Blanton, Joel Gault and Shannon Gault.
