Dak., were held at St. Mary's Church, Aberdeen, at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24th. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Aberdeen. Mrs. Vrooman died Friday at St. Luke's Hospital. She had suffered a heart attack on Thursday and had been taken to the hospital. She was born August 15, 1880, at Grenville, in Quebec, Canada. She had come to this country in 1906 and taught school in Chamberlain, Madison, Turton, conde and Eagle Butte. She and her sister, Esther Lowe, the late Sister Yvonne were early day homesteaders in this community. In May, 1916 she was married to Milo G. Vrooman. They made their home on a farm, seven miles southwest of Eagle Butte. Mr. Vrooman died in December 1931. Since then Mrs. Vrooman had made her home at Aberdeen, S.Dak. She is survived by one brother, J.J. Lowe, Aberdeen and several nieces and nephews of Montreal, Canada. Her husband, one son, four brothers and four sisters preceded her death. Mrs. Gregory Zacher, Mrs. Charles Serbousek, Pierre and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schulz, Bismarck, N.Dak., attended the funeral of Mrs. Vrooman in Aberdeen on Monday.
