"Betty" Kramer was born January 22, 1925 at Ramona, SD to Matthew and Anna Kramer. She grew up in Ramona where she received her elementary education. At the age of 13, she moved with her family to Sioux Falls where she attended Cathedral High School. On September 1, 1947, she was united in marriage with Robert L. Farrell at Dell Rapids, SD. Read More	Betty Farrell, 88, of Sioux Falls, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at Avera Prince of Peace. Elizabeth M. "Betty" Kramer was born January 22, 1925 at Ramona, SD to Matthew and Anna Kramer. She grew up in Ramona where she received her elementary education. At the age of 13, she moved with her family to Sioux Falls where she attended Cathedral High School. On September 1, 1947, she was united in marriage with Robert L. Farrell at Dell Rapids, SD. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Sioux Falls where they raised their family. Betty was an avid Minnesota Twins fan, Minnesota Vikings fan, and also a fan of University of Sioux Falls athletics. Betty enjoyed a good game of Bingo, and never passed up a garage sale. Betty also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Ronald Farrell, of Sioux Falls, SD, Gary Farrell (Karen Hewitt), of Tamarac, FL, Gene Farrell (Lorae) of Sioux Falls, SD, Dr. Michael Farrell (Celeste) of San Antonio, TX, Patricia Farrell (Steven Hursey), of Scottsdale, AZ, Sharon Hirrschoff (Donn) of Brookings, SD, and Mary Schnider, of Yankton, SD; 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Sister Jacqueline Farrell, of Rochester, MN, and Grace Kramer of Wilmot, SD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, on May 15, 2003; a sister, Regina Lammers; and three brothers, Clements, Firmin, and Alphonse. Funeral Mass will begin 1:30 pm Tuesday at The Cathedral of St. Joseph. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 to 7:00pm Monday with a Wake Service beginning at 7:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home, Main Avenue location.
