Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Cascade, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, where there will be a wake service at 4:30 p.m. Mrs. Howard was employed as the administrator for Shady Rest Care Center, until her retirement. She was born on Aug. 11, 1914, in Cascade, daughter of John and Pearl (Cooley) Becker. She married Owen W. Howard on May 15, 1941, at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Cascade; he died Aug. 17, 1974. She was a graduate of the former St. Martin's High School, Cascade. She was a member of St. Matthias Parish, Cascade, and its altar and rosary society. She also was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas-Our Blessed Mother Court 1926, the Cascade American Legion Auxiliary and the Shady Rest Auxiliary. Surviving are five daughters, Nikki (Phil) Manternach, of Cascade, Tami (Steve) McNally, of South Bend, Ind., Debbie (Dale) Jorgensen, of Excelsior, Minn., Becky (Maury) Villeneuve, of Breda, and Jessi (Bernie) Koob, of Cascade; three sons, Mike (Michele) Howard, of Auburn, Calf., and Pat (Sandy) Howard, and John (Debbie) Howard, both of Cascade; 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, 11 step grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanne (Pat) Kane, of Sacramento, Calif., and Virginia (George) Glenn, of Cherokee Village, Ark.; and a brother, James Alan (Joyce) Becker, of Independence. She also was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Florence Becker; a brother, Paul Becker; and a grandson, Scott Koob on May 8, 1995. An Elizabeth M.
