Read More	Raised in Damascus, Maryland Mrs. Elizabeth Mae Hurley Mullinix, 97, a former resident of Catonsville, Maryland died Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Lorien Assisted Living in Mount Airy. She was the wife of the late Walter Clifton Mullinix, who died October 2, 1979. Born May 20, 1910 in Purdum, she was a daughter of the late Harry Gilmore and Bessie Vierna Warthen Hurley. She married her husband Walter, Aug. 3, 1941 in Damascus. Following World War II, she and her late husband moved to the Baltimore area. She was a homemaker and loving mother. Surviving are two children, Elaine M. White of Starkville, Miss. and Wayne E. Mullinix of Dayton, Maryland; three grandchildren, Richard E. White Of Madison, Ala.; Suzy E. White of Memphis, Tenn.; and Sarah M. Gettier of Columbia, Maryland; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Mullinix is preceded in death by her brother, Gilmore Edward Hurley. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at Molesworth-Williams, P.A.,Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Mongomery United Methodist Church, 28325 Kemptown Road, Damascus, MD 20872. Rev. Dr. Wade Martin church pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Browningsville Coronet Band, Inc., 18787 Penn Shop Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771-3933 or to Carroll Hospice, 95 Carroll Street, Westminster, MD 21157.
