Description	:	Mrs. Mary "Lib" Burgess Holloway, 74, of 5235 Cole Mill Rd., died early Friday in Durham Regional Hospital. Mrs. Holloway was born in the Mangum township of Durham, but she had been a resident of Orange Co. for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Johnsie Brown Burgess. Mrs. Holloway was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of N.C. for 30 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Pleasant Green United Methodist Church. Read More	Mrs. Mary "Lib" Burgess Holloway, 74, of 5235 Cole Mill Rd., died early Friday in Durham Regional Hospital. Mrs. Holloway was born in the Mangum township of Durham, but she had been a resident of Orange Co. for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Johnsie Brown Burgess. Mrs. Holloway was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of N.C. for 30 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Pleasant Green United Methodist Church. Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her husband, Spence M. Holloway; and three sisters, Louise Kiger, Virginia Allison, and Eula Dollar, all of Durham. Mrs. Holloway is survived by two sons, Tim Holloway and wife, Pam of Hillsborough and Mark Holloway and wife, Dianne of Durham; two sisters, Lou Dawley and husband, Hubert of Virginia Beach, Va., and Shirley Young and husband, Harold, of Burlington; three granddaughters, Ashley Holloway, Becky Williams, and Leslie Smith and husband, Robbie; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral service will be held Sunday 2 p.m. at Pleasant Green United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Bowden and the Rev. Brian Wingo officiating. Flowers are acceptable, or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 11 Boylan Ave, Raleigh, NC 27603.
