Description	:	CUMBERLAND,MARYLAND -- Elizabeth "Betty"Rees (Fisher) Weatherholt, 84, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at Memorial Hospital. Born April 23, 1914, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Allan C. and Ella (Rees) Fisher. Mrs. Weatherholt also was preceded in death by her husband, F. Allan Weatherholt Sr., on Sept. 30, 1995; and one brother, Allan C. Fisher Jr. Mrs. Weatherholt was a graduate of Catherman's Business School. Read More	CUMBERLAND,MARYLAND -- Elizabeth "Betty"Rees (Fisher) Weatherholt, 84, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at Memorial Hospital. Born April 23, 1914, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Allan C. and Ella (Rees) Fisher. Mrs. Weatherholt also was preceded in death by her husband, F. Allan Weatherholt Sr., on Sept. 30, 1995; and one brother, Allan C. Fisher Jr. Mrs. Weatherholt was a graduate of Catherman's Business School. During World War II, she had worked at the Ali Ghan Shrine Club as assistant manager of the restaurant. She also had worked as an operator for the C&P Telephone Co. Mrs. Weatherholt was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, where she was past president of the Episcopal Church Women, member of St. Margaret's Circle and the Altar Ward. She also belonged to the Women's Civic Club. Survivors include two sons, the Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt and wife, the Rev. Anne Orwig Weatherholt, Hancock, and Robert M. Weatherholt and wife, Rebecca S. Weatherholt, Cumberland; and five grandchildren, David and Stephen Weatherholt, Hancock, Robert and Arthur Mason Weatherholt, Cumberland, and Melissa Saville, Romney, W.Va. Friends will be received at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 16 Washington St., Cumberland, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated at the church on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Edward C. Chapman, Rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, assisted by Steven L. McCarty, Lay Associate, St. Thomas,' Hancock. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the All Saints Fund at Emmanuel Parish, 16 Washington St., Cumberland, MD 21502. The Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, is in charge of arrangements.
