Read More	Obit: Elizabeth (Liz) Frank, 89, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died Dec. 10, 2005, at the Evergreen Nursing Home in Laurel of natural causes. She was born Feb. 5, 1916, in Laurel, the third child in a family of seven, born to Elizabeth (Hass) and David Ruff. She was united in marriage to George Frank in Laurel on Jan. 21, 1938; a union that lasted 49 years; 31 years was spent on a farm in Park City. She devoted her whole life to homemaking, her family and friends. She was noted for her crocheting and quilting. All of her family has an afghan and a quilt to remember her by. Frank was also known to be a good cook, especially her homemade noodles, angel food cakes and pies. She could grow everything in a garden which she did until just the last few years, but her main love was her yard and her flowers. She had one geranium that lasted more than 30 years in her favorite old coal bucket that she brought from the farm when they retired in 1969 and moved to town. She loved her Senior Citizens at Park City, serving many years as cook and then later on the board of directors. After moving to town, she worked for Leo Stepper at the Park City Locker Plant for many years, making many lasting friends. After her husband's death in 1987, rarely did she miss a Wednesday Senior Dinner. She loved her bingo and card games with her friends. She was voted Senior Woman of the year to represent Park City. Frank is survived by her two children Marlene (George) Amen of Billings, Larry (Nancy) Frank of Park City; five grandchildren, Rhonda (Neal) Armfield, Arla (Clayton) Oblander, Doug (Stephanie) Frank, Kelly (Gary) Harper, Jason (Tara) Frank; nine great-grandchildren, Shawntell and Skylar Armfield, Ashley and Brian Frank, Haley and Makayla Harper, Shelbie and Cearra Oblander and Savanna Frank; two brothers, David (Scharlotte) Ruff of Laurel and John (Ruth) Ruff of Washington; one brother-in-law Jake (Esther) of Park City. Funeral service are today at 10 am., Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel. Interment will be in the Park City Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the charity of one's choice.
