| Description | : | Elizabeth was born on the farm of Edgehill, Foveran, about 10 miles north of Aberdeen. She married John Isaac of Udny, Aberdeenshire on 6 Jan 1838. Seven of their children were born in Scotland, three sons and four daughters. It appears that they came to Canada in 1848. In October 1850 her husband John Isaac purchased land in Peel township, Wellington County, Ontario, near the town of Alma, Ontario. In 1858, they left Alma, and moved to Winterbourne in Woolwich township, where her husband purchased 120 acres in lot 5 of the second Concession of Woolwich township.
