Civil War Draft Registration of July 1, 1863 revealed Henry Dellinger (32) was born about 1831 in Pennsylvania, married and resided in Penn, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The 1870 census revealed Henry was a laborer and their personal property value was $120. Household members: Henry Dellinger (40), Eliza (29), Susanna (10), William (9), Rebecca (7), John F. (5), Caroline (3) and Howard (1). The 1880 census revealed Henry and his parents were born in Pennsylvania. Eilzabeth and her parents were born in Pennsylvania. Household members: Henry Dellinger (46), Eliza (42), Susanna A. (20), William H. (19), Kate R. (17), John F. (15), Carie A. (12) and Howard M. (11). Henry's mother, Leah lived next door with his sister, Leah Evans and family. Their known children: Susan A. The 1900 census revealed John was a farmer and they owned their farm free of mortgage. They were living on North Main Street in Chicago Junction, Huron County, Ohio. John was born in April 1824 and Elizabeth was born in December 1837. Elizabeth had seven children and six were still living. Household members: John Carothers (76) and Elizabeth (63). They had been married eleven years when John died on April 12, 1909. The 1920 census revealed Elizabeth was a widow and was living with her daughter, Carrie Sage and husband in Richmond, Huron County, Ohio. Household members: Elizabeth Carothers (63), Charles Sage (58) and Carrie (52). Death record revealed Elizabeth Carrothers was born on December 15, 1839 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and was the widow of John Carothers. Her father, Oliver Sennett was born in Ireland and her mother, Elizabeth Oaster was born in Pennsylvania. Elizabeth died at age eighty-four on February 25, 1924 in Richmond, Huron County, Ohio. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery in Richmond Township on February 27, 1924. The informant was her son, Will Dellinger. F. Sennett and son of Norwalk.}} Elizabeth lived to age 90.
