She was the mother of 10 children, 5 of whom survive. Born near Hickman Nov. 26, 1869, she was married June 17, 1889 to Thomas J. Bodfield. They farmed near Bennet and Roca until her husband died 36 years ago. She moved to Lincoln in 1931. A member of Bennet Christian Church, Mrs. Bodfield spent her time embroidering, sewing and doing her housework. Two of her sons served in World War I. During World War II , one son and 3 of her grandsons were in the service. Mrs. Bodfield is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Adams and Mrs. Mildred Smith, both of Lincoln; three sons, Verni, Harold and Roy, all of Lincoln; a brother, Claude Kinnison of Lincoln; 48 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
