Description	:	Ella Christophersen Hunwardsen was born August 23, 1908, at Danbury, Iowa, the daughter of John B. and Ida (Ahrendsen) Christophersen. She attended rural schools there. On July 15, 1933, she married Otto Hunwardsen at Sioux City. They lived most of their lives in the Correctionville community. He preceded her in death last January. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She had been a resident of the Colonial Manor for the last seven years. Burial was in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Midway. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Earl and Joann of Galt, California, Dale and Rosalie of Anthon, Gary and Nancy of Kingsley, and Roy and Janice of Correctionville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vera and Burdette Lorenzen and Lois and Gaylon Gotliebson, all of Colfax, Wisconsin; a sister-in-law, Mary Bergman of Correctionville; 25 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, six brothers, and two sisters.
