Description	:	Ella Dorothea Abbas, 89, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away August 22, 2008, at the Sheffield Care Center in Sheffield, Iowa. She was born April 3, 1919, in Marion Township to Herman and Lena (Spangenberg) Meyer. Ella attended the Marion Center Country School. She was married to George L. Abbas on April 29, 1942. Ella was a homemaker and spent most of her life on the family farm by Latimer. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed being a member of the LWML. Ella is survived by her son Dennis and his wife Eve Abbas of Hampton, brother Edmund Meyer of Hampton, brother Wesley and wife Mabel Meyer of Hampton, grandson Timothy and wife Leah Abbas of Fairbault, Minnesota, grandson Benjamin Abbas (Megan Hanson) of Hampton, great grandson Brandon Abbas of Fairbault, Minnesota and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Walter Meyer and two sisters-in-law Arlene Meyer & Opal Meyer.
