Description	:	Mrs Ella E Jamison St Matthews, Oct 30 - mrs Ella E Jamison, widow of the late Capt D R Jamison, died last night about midnight at the residence of her sister, Mrs Thomas W Dantzler. Mrs Jamison was 84 years of age. Although seldom ill, her death was not unexpected. For about two years her health had been gradually declining, though she manifested a marked vitality. Read More	Mrs Ella E Jamison St Matthews, Oct 30 - mrs Ella E Jamison, widow of the late Capt D R Jamison, died last night about midnight at the residence of her sister, Mrs Thomas W Dantzler. Mrs Jamison was 84 years of age. Although seldom ill, her death was not unexpected. For about two years her health had been gradually declining, though she manifested a marked vitality. It was only a few weeks ago that she became unable to take her accustomed walks and even then she maintained her cheefrul spirit. Many years ago her husband died and since that time she has made her home with her sister, Mrs Dantzler. Mrs Jamison was a woman of splendid education and kept posted on current events. She was awake in matters of business and keenly interested in social and helpful enterprises. She is survived by her sisters, Mrs Thomas W Dantzler and Mrs Julia A Zimmerman Tyler, both of St Matthews, and one brother, Irvin H Zimmerman of Cameron. Mrs Jamison was a life long and devoted member of the Methodist church. The funeral was held this afternoon from the residence, her pastor, the Rev J T Peeler, being in charge. The remains were interred at West End Cemetery.
