Description	:	"Services for Ella Dodd Held Aug. 15th. Mrs. Arthur (Ella) Dodd, 79, a lifelong resident of the Baxter community, died Saturday at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. at the Congregational United church of Christ in Baxter. The Rev. T. A. Thompson, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Burial was in Restland Cemetery in Baxter. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society will be accepted. Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. A. J. The daughter of Conrad and Emma Harre Chract (Kracht), she was born May 6, 1893 at Baxter and was a graduate of Baxter Hight School. Mrs. Dodd taught school for several years.
