Read More	OBITUARY The Greenville News (SC) - Thursday, January 13, 1949, Page 11 TUCAPAU, SC - January 12 - Mrs. Ellie Henson Grant, 49, resident of 10 Ash Street, died suddenly at 9:45 o'clock tonight. Mrs. Grant had been a resident of Tucapau for three years and was a former resident of Greer. She was a daughter of the late A. T. and Kindness Howard Henson, and was a member of the Ebenezer-Welcome Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ira N. Grant; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Bobo of Spartanburg and Mrs. Stanley Hyatt of Woodruff; three sons, James M. of Greer, Carroll and Ira M. Grant, both of Tucapau; one brother, Charlie Henson of Greer, and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, and will be announced later by the Wood Mortuary. _____________________ The Greenville News (SC) - Friday, January 14, 1949, Page 8 TUCAPAU, SC - January 13 - Funeral services for Mrs. Ellie Henson Grant, 49, wife of Ira N. Grant, and resident of 10 Ash Street, who died suddenly Wednesday night at 9:45 o'clock will be Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Ebenezer-Welcome Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. T. E. Reid, assisted by the Rev. Dallas Mathis. Burial will be in Ebenezer-Welcome cemetery. The following will meet at the church Friday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock to serve as pallbearers: J. L. Henson, Furman Rollins, Troy and Harold Hyatt, George and Roy Bobo. The following also will meet at the church at the same hour and serve as the honorary escort: Dr. W. M. Snoddy, Dr. A. J. Causey, Clarence Haynie, Tyree Hiott, Everett Edwards and M. F. Rollins. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, three sons, one brother and three grandchildren. The body is at the home and at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon will be placed in the church to remain until the hour of the service.
