Description	:	Ella M. "Trudy" Gensinger, 80, a longtime resident of East Wenatchee, passed away March 19, 2000 at Parkside Care Center in Wenatchee. She was born Sept. 21, 1919 in Alta Vista, KS to Henry and Lena (Boettcher) Merscham. It was there she spent her childhood and received her education. "Trudy" Gensinger, 80, a longtime resident of East Wenatchee, passed away March 19, 2000 at Parkside Care Center in Wenatchee. She was born Sept. 21, 1919 in Alta Vista, KS to Henry and Lena (Boettcher) Merscham. It was there she spent her childhood and received her education. Most of her adult life was spent in the Wenatchee Valley. On June 4, 1947, she married Gerald "Bud" Gensinger at Junction City, KS. She was employed in retail sales and worked at the Farris Shop in Wenatchee until it closed. She was a member of the Brethren Baptist Church United in Wenatchee. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning and playing the organ. She was especially fond of her family. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Gary Daling of Waterville; a daughter, Trudie Gensinger of East Wenatchee; a son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Berta Gensinger of East Wenatchee; two sisters, Jean Glessner and Helen Bostick, both of Kansas; four grandchildren, Heidi Black and her husband, Monty of Mansfield, Lane Daling of Waterville and Amy and Chad Gensinger of East Wenatchee; and two great-grandchildren, Denver and Sheianne Black of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Bud," in 1989. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2000 at Telford's Chapel of the Valley with Pastor Sam Detwiler officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Those wishing may make memorials in Trudy's name to Parkside Care Center Resident Council. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
