Description	:	Obit: Daily Herald: Nov 27, 1933 Mrs Lincoln Farrell, 66 of Lake City, a ressident of Carroll for 40 years, died yesterday morning at 4 at her Lake City home. She had been in poor health the last 8 years and was bedfast much of that time. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 at the Methodist Episcopal church here. The Rev Mr White of Lake City, will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in the Carroll cemetery Ella Nora Sharp, daughter of the Rev John F and Amanda Sharp, was born April 25, 1867 near Linnville in Johnson county. While still a young girl she moved with her parents to Kirkman and later to Irwin, where she was united in marriage to Lincoln L Farrell Dec 12 1886. To this union 8 children were born, 6 sons and 2 daughters. Mr and Mrs Farrell spent the first years of their married lie farming near Carrollton, Carroll and Manning, and moved to Carroll in 1893, where they made their home for 40 years. They went to Lake City Jan 1, 1932 where they have since resided. During her early life Mrs Farrell was a member of the United Brethren church of which her father was a minister. Later sh was affiliated with, first the Church of God, then the Methodist Episcopal church of which she was a member at the time of her death. During her years of illness Mrs Farrell often seemed on the verge of going home but it seemed God's will that she be left a little while longer to enjoy the family of which she had spent almost every minute of her life and her health. She kept her sweetness of character unto the end. She is survived by her husband and 8 children, Glen, Clyde and Homer Farrell, and Mrs F V Hibbs of Carroll, Harry Farrell of Audubon, Merle Farrell of Lake City, Mrs Ralph (Doris) Lillard of Richards, Raymond Farrell of Hamburg. She also leaves 17 grandchildren, 4 brothers, William Sharp of Lanesboro, Robert Sharp of Sutherland, NE, Arthur and Frank Sharp of Carroll and 1 sister, Mrs Laura Callaway of Carroll.
