Description	:	Mrs. Ella Sherer passed away last Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at her home in Stone Coal. She had been a sufferer for some time with Bright's Disease, but the immediate cause of death was apoplexy. Mrs. Ella Sherer was born in Collaway county, Missouri, June 17th, in the year 1851. She leaves to mourn her death, two sons,... Read More	Mrs. Ella Sherer passed away last Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at her home in Stone Coal. She had been a sufferer for some time with Bright's Disease, but the immediate cause of death was apoplexy. Mrs. Ella Sherer was born in Collaway county, Missouri, June 17th, in the year 1851. She came to California in 1871, and first located in Colusa county. Thirteen years later, in 1884, she moved to Modoc County and for the past thirty three years has made her home here. She leaves to mourn her death, two sons, Ralph and Earl Sherer, and one sister, Mrs. Jasper Shaw, all of whom reside in this county. Her husband, D. Sherer died a year ago last January, and was buried in the Adin cemetery and the remains of Mrs. Sherer were laid beside his Wednesday afternoon, services being held in the church by Rev. C.H.C. Jackson.
