Husband in Hospital in Serious Condition at Time of Wife's Death Mrs. Ellen Baarson, wife of Carl Baarson of 1913 Second avenue south, died early Wednesday morning at the Deaconess hospital after a long illness. Husband in Hospital in Serious Condition at Time of Wife's Death Mrs. Ellen Baarson, wife of Carl Baarson of 1913 Second avenue south, died early Wednesday morning at the Deaconess hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Baarson was 35 years old and had lived in Great Falls for 30 years. She attended the public schools here and was graduated from the Great Falls high school with the class of 1912. Born April 1, 1894, at Box Elder, Mrs. Baarson came to Great Falls with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Erickson, in 1899. She was a member of the First Lutheran church and took a prominent part in its activities, particularly as a teacher in the Bible school and as a member of the Dorcas society. Her marriage to Carl Baarson occurred Jan. 2, 1917, and to them were born two children, Donald and Raymond. Besides the husband and two sons, Mrs. Baarson is survived by her parents; three sisters, Miss Lydia Erickson of Las Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Thomas Grover and Mrs. Phil Connely, both of Great Falls. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 at the W. H. George chapel with E. M. Lorimer, student pastor of the First English Lutheran church, officiating. Mr. Baarson was also a patient at the Deaconess hospital, suffering from blood poisoning, at the time is wife passed away. His condition was said to be serious Wednesday night. --- Cause of death: Carcinoma of the stomach, with metastases
