She married Andrew McKeon on Jan 29, 1890 in Rock county, WI. They were the parents of Mary (1891 WI), Winifred (1893 IA), David C (1895), and Merrill J (1898). BAYARD NEWS - November 30th, 1944 - Mrs Ellen McKeon, a pioneer resident of this community, passed away at her home in Bayard Wednesday Nov 22, 1944 at the age of 82 years, 3 months, and 7 days, her death being due to heart trouble. Ellen McKeon, the daughter of Patrick and Elizabeth McMahon, was born in Footville, Wi on Aug 15, 1862. She spent her girlhood in Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to Andrew E McKeon of Evansville, Wi Jan 26, 1890. To this union were born four children: two sons and two daughter. Her husband and one daughter preceded in her death, also two brothers and two sisters: Michael and Patrick McMahon and Mary Duffy and Elizabeth Collins. She and her husband came to Iowa in 1891 and took up farming in Greene county and resided on the same place until the death of her husband in 1939. The following spring she moved to Bayard with her three children. She leaves to mourn her departure two sons, David C and James Merrill and a daughter Winnie E, and a brother, John McMahon. Funeral services were held Nov 25 at St Patricks church in Bayard with a solemn Requim High Mass. Interment was made in Willow cemetery. Name Andrew E.
