Mrs. Revels was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edwin "Buddy" Revels; parents, Andrew Tilden, Sr. and Sarah Ola Wyatt Dowdle; one son, Jerry Quinton Revels; one daughter, Judy Ford and a brother, Andrew Dowdle, Jr. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Terri Revels of Lockesburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Jerry Brackett of Lockesburg and Sadie and Phil Yates of Glenwood, Arkansas; four sisters Audine Butler of Lockesburg, Bobbie Butler of Nashville, Arkansas, Irma Friday of Lockesburg and Sammye Winton of Dierks, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Ginger Dowdle and Naomi Hale both of Lockesburg; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Revels; eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Revels will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the Lockesburg United Methodist Church with Terry Chapman and John Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Lockesburg Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the funeral home.
