Ellen Gorman was born in Gananoqua [sic], Canada in 1834 and her marriage to Mr. Bush occured at Watertown, NY in 1855. Mr. Bush passed away about twenty years ago. Mrs. Bush was the mother of five children, two daughters having died in childhood. A son, Edward died at the age of twenty-seven, and a son and one daughter survive, Miss Edith Bush of Topeka and Chas. W. Bush of this city. Always of a quiet and retired disposition, in compliance with her wishes, the funeral services were marked with brevity and simplicity. The funeral service was held at the family home on Friday morning at nine o'clock conducted by Rev. D.A. Shutt of this city. Burial was made in the Burlingame cemetery.
