Born in Westernport, Mrs. Healy was a daughter of the late James and Bridget (Manning) Bissett and wife of the late John E. Healy. Mrs. Healy was a member of St. Peter's Church, the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin and Court Sancta Maria, Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include a son Postmaster Patrick J. Healy of Piedmpnt; two daughters, Sister Edward Emmanuel, SSJ., St. Joseph Academy, McSherrystown, Pa., and Mrs. Mildred (Joseph K.) Gillis, Tampa, Florida. Also surviving are two brothers, Liguori Bissett and DeSales Bissett, both of Piedmont, and two grandchildren, Miss Patricia Healy of Piedmont and Joseph K. Gillis Jr., of Tampa. "The Herald" (Piedmont, W.Va.), Thursday 16 October 1958: "Solemn Requiem Mass for Mrs. Ellen Ida Healy, 85, wife of the late John E. Healy, who died 7 October 1958 at her home, was celebrated Friday morning in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport. Rev. George J. Pugh was celebrant; Rev. Charles H. Quinn, deacon; and Rev. Michael Kenneth Carney, of Oakland, sub-deacon. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were John Bissett, James Kelly, John Ryan, Thomas Hartman, John Hartman and Woodrow Wilson. The out of town persons who attended were Mrs. Joseph K. Gillis, Tampa, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. H. H.
