Description	:	Mrs O.T. Sigrud died very suddenly at her home in this city Tuesday evening about 9 o'clock, after a brief illness with heart trouble, aged 40 years, 2 months and 5 days. Ellen Sophia Bergstrom, a daughter of M.O. Bergstrom and his first wife Margaret, was born at Neenah, Wis, July 19, 1867. Sigrud died very suddenly at her home in this city Tuesday evening about 9 o'clock, after a brief illness with heart trouble, aged 40 years, 2 months and 5 days. Ellen Sophia Bergstrom, a daughter of M.O. Bergstrom and his first wife Margaret, was born at Neenah, Wis, July 19, 1867. With her parents she moved to Beloit when but fours years of age and here she spent her childhood. In 1884 the family moved to this city (Canton SD)to reside. On July 24th, 1894, she was united in marriage to Ole T. Sigrud of this city and they have resided here ever since. To them were born four children, Mark 12 years of age, Selmer 10 years of age, Pearl 7 years of age and an infant son of three weeks, all of whom with the husband are left to ourn the loss of the mother and wife. Ten years ago Mrs Sigrud was very sick for a time but for several years past has been unusually well. Just recently she has had slight attacks of heart trouble but none of long duration until the last attack which lasted about two hours Tuesday evening when the messenger of death took from our midst this loved one. Funeral services will be held this (Friday) afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran Church and interment will take place in Forest Hill cemetery.
