(Miller) Martin. 1970 Mrs. Ellen Carter, 80 years of age, passed away Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sallie Troop, five miles west of St. Libory. Over a year ago Mrs. Carter had a toe amputated and later a limb above the knee. She recovered from this, however, and was doing nicely when taken sick, passing away suddenly, death being due to old age. The funeral was conducted this afternoon and interment was made in the Dannebrog cemetery.
